How to use the Business Days Calculator
- Enter the first and last date; both endpoints are included.
- Add any holidays or closure dates that apply to your schedule.
- Read the weekday total after weekends and entered exclusions are removed.
A transparent weekday calendar
The calculator visits every date in the inclusive range. Saturdays and Sundays are counted separately, and each unique entered weekday exclusion is removed once. An exclusion that falls on a weekend does not reduce the business-day result twice.
This is scheduling arithmetic, not an official banking, court or government calendar. Enter every closure that matters to the deadline you are planning.
With your numbers
- 2026-09-21 through 2026-09-27 includes 7 calendar days

Common questions about the Business Days Calculator
- Does this know public holidays automatically?
- No. Holiday calendars vary by country, state, employer and year. Only dates you explicitly enter are excluded.
- Are the start and end dates included?
- Yes. A Monday-to-Friday range contains five business days when no weekday exclusion is entered.
- What counts as a weekend?
- This first version treats Saturday and Sunday as weekends. It does not model alternative workweeks.
