Privacy

The short version

We do not collect personal data, we do not set cookies, and we have no user accounts. The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to us, because there is nowhere for them to be sent: the site is static files and there is no server that could receive them.

What is stored on your device

The site uses your browser's local storage for three things: which theme you picked, which unit system you picked, and the last values you entered in a calculator so the page is not empty when you come back. That data stays in your browser. It is not transmitted, it is not readable by us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Shared links

Pressing "Copy link" puts your measurements into the URL, so that whoever opens the link sees the same result. Only calculator inputs go into a link, never anything personal. If you share one, you are sharing those measurements with whoever receives it.

Analytics

There is currently no analytics on this site at all. If that changes we will use a provider that does not set cookies and does not track individuals across sites, and we will update this page before turning it on, not after.

Advertising

There is no advertising on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and any consent mechanism your jurisdiction requires will be in place before any advertising script loads.

Hosting and logs

The site is served as static files by a hosting provider, which keeps ordinary server logs including IP addresses for operational and security purposes. We do not use those logs to build a profile of anyone.

Changes

If what we do changes, this page changes with it. It is meant to describe the site as it actually behaves, so if you find a discrepancy between this page and the site, please tell us.
